NCRJ White Paper on the Jesse Friedman Case
The NCRJ is pleased to announce the publication of a White Paper about the Friedman case. The NCRJ has sponsored Jesse Friedman’s case for over a decade, and this paper, by Gavin de Becker and NCRJ Director Emily Horowitz, summarizes the context of the child sex abuse moral panic and highlights important new evidence about Jesse’s innocence. The NCRJ has asked the special panel appointed to review Jesse’s case to overturn his conviction, and we have sent them copies of this paper so o that they are aware of the extensive evidence that conclusively demonstrates this is a classic child sex abuse hysteria case of false confessions and wrongful convictions.
